Qualifications

Born on 19^th September 1964, Jacques Stern is a graduate from the School of Management École supérieure de commerce de Lille. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Career

In 1988, Jacques Stern started his career as an External Auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and later integrated the Accor Group in 1992, where he held many different financial positions, working as a Consolidation Officer. He served as the Group Financial Planning Officer from 1996 and as Group Controller of Accor SA in 2000. In 2002, he was promoted to the position of Executive Deputy Chief Financial Officer and to CFO a year later. In 2004, Jacques Stern was appointed Director of high-end Club Méditerranée and became Member of the Supervisory Board since 25^th October of that same year.

His career escalated when he became an Executive Officer of Corporate Finance, a Member of the Management Board on 8^th March 2005 and Director of Ingenico SA since April 2005. Jacques Stern cumulated the following positions from 2006 onwards: Chairman of Ingenico SA (27^th June 2007 – January 2010), Member of the Supervisory Board of NewGen Hotels AG (until 15^th November 2007), and of Lucien Barrière SAS, Executive Vice-President of Strategy Hotel Development, Purchasing & Information Systems of the Accor Group as well as a Member of the Executive Committee (2008).

From 12^th March 2009 to 29^th June 2010, Jacques Stern served as Deputy Managing Director in charge of Accor Services and Finance followed by the post of Chairman of the Board and CEO of Edenred SA, the World Leader in prepaid corporate services.
