Qualifications
Christian Lefèvre graduated from the French Marine Merchant National School in 1984.
Career
Following graduation, Lefèvre joined Bourbon as a junior engineering officer. He was soon promoted to Chief Engineer and Captain of the Bourbon fleet of offshore container ships. He was then relocated to West Africa and given responsibility for corporate operations in both Gabon and Cameroon. In 1990 he was further promoted to become the Director of Operations of Bourbon Offshore activities. From 1996 to 2001 he served as Managing Director of Bourbon Offshore Surf. In December 2005 he was appointed to be Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Bourbon Group Executive Committee. In January 2011 he was promoted again to CEO of Bourbon Group.
Anecdotes
In 1988 Christian Lefèvre was awarded a Captain 1st Class certification in marine navigation.
