Didier Michaud-Daniel

Qualifications

Didier Michaud-Daniel is a graduate of the University of Commerce, (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Poitiers) and INSEAD, with a Degree in Business Management.

 

Career

In 2012 Didier Michaud-Daniel was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Wendel and Bureau Veritas.

Previously, Michaud-Daniel was President of Otis Elevator Company, whose parent company was United Technologies Corporation. He served in this capacity from 2008 to 2012. He also served as President of the Central European and UK Area of Otis Elevator from 2004 to 2008.

From 2001 until 2004, Michaud-Daniel was Managing Director of Otis UK and Ireland. He started at Otis in 1981 in sales, and was later promoted to branch management. Michaud-Daniel held many positions at Otis spanning 20 years with the company.

With Otis he gained experience in every aspect of business operations. He is uniquely qualified in this regard to lead a business quality certification industry. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Kingswood Oxford School, and is also on the Board of Directors of Hartford HealthCare.
