François Enaud

Qualifications

François Enaud is a graduate of civil engineering from both L’Ecole Polytechnique and L’Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.

 

Career

François Enaud began his career in 1982 with Colas, the French civil engineering company specialising in road and rail track construction. In 1983 he joined Steria as a company engineer. He has remained with Steria for more than thirty years, building his career up to the level of Chairman and CEO. After eight years, in 1991 Enaud was given responsibility for Steria’s transport division. Five years later he was put in charge of it corporate telecoms division. In 1997 he was appointed CEO, to which was added the role of Chairman in 1998. Enaud has overseen a period of strategic corporate acquisition that has enabled Steria to become a leader in its market. Enaud has also overseen the company’s international growth, achieved primarily through the corporate acquisition of Integris in 2001, Mummert Consulting in 2004 and Xansa in 2007.

Anecdotes

In addition to his executive responsibilities with Steria, François Enaud sits on the Board of specialty chemicals and advanced materials company Arkema and is President of Agence Nouvelle des Solidarités Actives (ANSA New Agency for Active Solidarity), a non-profit organisation dedicated to testing innovative solutions in the fight against poverty and social exclusion. His contribution to civil life in France was officially recognized on 13th July 2006 when he received the title of Knight of the Legion of Honour.
