Education

Corinne NAMBLARD holds a Masters and DEA Political Sciences from Paris X Nanterre. After a Masters equivalence from Middlebury College USA, Corinne pursued doctoral studies at J.F Kennedy School at Harvard in Boston, USA before completing the Executive Management Program at HEC CPA in Paris, France.

 

Career

Corinne Namblard started her career at BNP where she spent the next 16 years in various roles and international postings. Her first executive role took her to New York in 1981 where she was in charge of Capital Market activities and headed up BNP’s Financial Representative Office.  From 1984 until 1999, Corinne headed the Investment Banking activities in Canada. In 1991, from London and Paris, she managed the Advisory Team within the Project Finance Department in her capacity as Senior Vice-President Transport and  Infrastructure, up until 1997.

From 1997 until 2000, Corinne Namblard moved on to Egis SA a leading French and international operator and engineering firm, as Head of Strategy and Development. She implemented a number of M&A transactions and set up various Operational JVs for rail, port and airport activities within the Group. At the request of the Managing Director of Caisse des dépôts et consignations, she joined the French Prime Minister’s Working Group on PPP Best Practices with a view to set up France’s PPP Task Force and design France’s PPP legal and institutional frameworks.

From 2000 onwards, Corinne Namblard became Chief Executive Officer of the Galaxy Fund in Luxemburg. She designed the structure and governance of the fund and raised 300 million euros from leading European institutional investors, for this private equity fund dedicated to transport infrastructure. With her team, they successfully managed a portfolio of assets for 10 years, until 2010.

In 2011, Corinne Namblard joined the board and the audit & finance committee of Qantas Airways, in Australia. She was also invited by the Premier of South Australia to join the board of the Economic Development Board and led the Infrastructure Task Force.

She was nominated in 2014, as one of SA Most Influential Women in Business and Finance.

Finally in 2014, Corinne Namblard established in France and in Australia an independent advisory firm specializing in structuring, financial engineering and funding projects and or funds in the Infrastructure space, INFRA & PE Advisory.

Anecdotes

Corinne Namblard was for more than 10 years, the Chairman of PPP Alliance under the auspices of the United Nations in Geneva. UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe). Corinne is a well-known speaker at international conferences and she also is a lecturer at various Business Schools and Universities. Corinne NAMBLARD has also advised private projects for the Taiwan High Speed Rail Authority as well as advised public stakeholders such as the Tri-Partite High Speed Rail Commission in Canada on the Toronto-Quebec high speed rail project. Corinne NAMBLARD has also been a member of the Kinnock Infrastructure Group at the European Commission and is an Expert with the World Bank.
